The Amazon Fire TV Stick allows you
to watch movies and videos in three different qualities: Good, Better and Best
(default). If you own Fire TV Stick 4K, then you will get 4K option in addition
to Good, Better and Best option, If your fire stickremote not working you can call at their support number.
Depending on the video quality you use, data usage will vary.
When you are watching a movie with video quality, the Fire, TV stick consumes
approximately 900MB of data/hour. It will consume around 3.5GB of data while
watching a video in the best quality. 4K video will consume around 6GB of
data/hour.
If your Internet service provider has a data cap, you want to
closely monitor the data consumed by the Fire TV stick. The Amazon Fire TVStick allows you to monitor data usage so that you can monitor your data
consumption.
The Fire TV Stick shows the data used by apps in the last 30
days (you need to set the billing cycle first). You can also set an alert to
exceed a specific data limit. However, it cannot control data usage by apps.
How to View data usage on Amazon Fire TV Stick:-
Step 1: Navigate to Settings> Preference with the help of
Fire TV Stick Remote.
Step 2: Select the Data Monitoring option and then press the
Select key to check if the data monitoring is on or off. The feature is turned
off by default. To turn it on, press the select button again (when data
monitoring is selected).
Step 3: Scroll down to see monthly top data usage options.
Select that option and then press the Select button on the remote to see data
usage by apps.
The amount of data usage by all installed apps is the total
data consumed by your Amazon Fire TV stick.
To set the billing cycle, please set Settings>
Preferences> Data Monitoring> Data Alert and then choose Billing Cycle
